By booking your stay or any services with Vida Boa Lodge (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “VIDA BOA
LODGE”), you agree to all Terms & Conditions outlined below and will be further referred to
as “Client,” “Guest,” “Customer,” or “You.” Please read these carefully before making a
booking.

1. General Provisions

• By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted
these Terms & Conditions.
• Guests are responsible for thoroughly reviewing all booking and confirmation details
and must notify VIDA BOA LODGE immediately of any errors.
• VIDA BOA LODGE is a hosted lodge with staff living on-site. Guests must behave
respectfully toward other guests, staff, property, and neighbours at all times.
• For safety and security, no outside guests are permitted on the property unless
otherwise agreed by the host.

2. Booking Process & Payment

• Bed & Breakfast bookings must be made through our online booking system.
• Group bookings, promotions, retreats, or special weeks must be requested directly
via email or WhatsApp.
• A 20% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks
before arrival.
• Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
• VIDA BOA LODGE reserves the right to cancel a booking if payments are not received
within the required timeframe.
• The lead guest for group bookings confirms authority to book on behalf of all
members and is responsible for ensuring everyone is aware of these Terms.
• It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all transfer fees or charges are covered so
that VIDA BOA LODGE receives the full booking amount in Euros (€).
Accepted Payment Methods
• Cash
• PayPal
• Revolut
• Bank Transfer (guest covers all fees; please use surname as reference)
⚠ We do not currently accept card payments.

3. Check-In & Check-Out Policies

• Check-in: 15h00–19h00
• Late check-in: After 19h00 is possible via self check-in, which guests must complete
independently using the instructions provided.
• Check-out: until 11h00
Early or late check-in/out may be possible upon request and is subject to availability. Luggage
storage is available, and guests may use facilities until their room is ready or after checkout.

4. Cancellation Policies

Standard Cancellations
• Up to 6 weeks before arrival: 20% deposit is non-refundable.
• Within 6 weeks of arrival: 100% of the booking is non-refundable.
Force Majeure
If the accommodation becomes uninhabitable due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural
disaster, severe weather, epidemic), liability is limited to refunding the amount paid for
accommodation only.

5. Prices

• All prices are listed in Euros (€).
• Prices may be updated prior to booking confirmation. Confirmed bookings will not be
affected.

6. Deposits

• Dorm room padlock: €50 cash deposit (refundable) (can use your own!)
• Beach towel rental: €5 per towel + €15 cash deposit (refundable).
• Large groups: €150 cleaning fee + €350 returnable breakage deposit, refundable
within 21 days if no damages occur.

7. House Rules & General Conduct

Light-Hearted No-Party Policy
VIDA BOA LODGE is a no-party lodge—and while we absolutely appreciate good vibes and fun
times, we aim to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Think “friendly
social energy,” not “all-night blowout.”
Quiet Hours
To respect all guests and neighbours:
23h00 – 08h00
General Conduct
• Guests must behave respectfully at all times.
• Lead guests are responsible for the behaviour of anyone under their booking.
• VIDA BOA LODGE reserves the right to refuse service or evict guests without refund
for violating these Terms.
Smoking
• Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
• Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
Alcohol & Food
• All food and drink consumed on the premises must be purchased at VIDA BOA
LODGE.
• Breakfast is included daily.
• Lunch and dinner are available (at extra cost unless included in a package)
• Guests cannot access the kitchen or fridge.
• A stocked outdoor bar and 24-hour honesty bar are available.
Drugs
Illegal drugs are strictly forbidden and result in immediate termination of the stay without
refund.
Age Guidance
Due to our social hostel-style environment:
• We recommend not bringing children.
• If children do stay:
o They must be supervised at all times.
o Minors are not allowed in dormitories (18+ only).
CCTV
Security cameras operate in public areas for safety.

8. Pool Rules

For safety and comfort:
• Pool hours: 08h00–20h00
• No night swimming
• No glass in or around the pool
• No diving
• No lifeguard on duty
• Children must be supervised
• Guests use the pool at their own risk

9. Damages, Additional Charges & Lost Property

Damages & Charges
Guests must report any damages immediately. Additional charges may apply for:
• Excessive cleaning
• Damaged property or furnishings
• Replacement of stained linens (makeup, self-tanner, sunscreen, blood, etc.)
Lost & Found
Items left behind will be held for 14 days and may be shipped at the guest’s expense.

10. Liability & Insurance

• All facilities are used at the guest’s own risk.
• Travel insurance is compulsory under EC law.
• Guests are responsible for their own documentation (passport, visa, ID, insurance,
etc.).
• VIDA BOA LODGE is not liable for:
o Lost, stolen, or damaged belongings
o Injuries or medical issues
o Third-party service interruptions
• Activities may be cancelled for safety reasons; rescheduling or compensation will be
attempted.

11. Transportation

Transport services may be arranged via third parties or our own minibus. Guests use these
services at their own risk.

12. Media Release

By booking with us, guests consent to being photographed or recorded during lodge
activities. Images may be used for promotional purposes (website, social media, booking
platforms, partnerships) without additional consent or compensation.

13. Parking

Street parking is available near the property.

14. Special Requests

Requests (dietary needs, early breakfast, room preferences, activity changes, celebrations)
are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

15. Accessibility

Due to multiple staircases, VIDA BOA LODGE may not be accessible for guests with reduced
mobility.

16. Complaints

We aim for every guest to have a wonderful stay. Any issues must be reported during your
stay so we can address them. Complaints received after departure may not be considered.

17. Privacy Policy

VIDA BOA LODGE is committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your
privacy.
Information We Collect
We may collect personal data such as:
• Full name, contact details- email, phone number, address
• Booking and payment information
• Social media username (e..g Instagram)
• Communications with us
• Data shared via contact forms, bookings or competitions
Newsletter
Any email provided during a booking will be added to our email newsletter list.
Guests can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in the emails.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used for:
• Processing and managing bookings
• Providing services during your stay
• Processing payments & issuing confirmations
• Improving our guest experience
• Safety, legal, and administrative purposes
Data Security
We employ reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized
access, loss, or misuse.
Third-Party Services
If required to deliver a service (e.g., transportation, excursions, payment processing), we may
share limited information with trusted third parties who handle data responsibly.
Guest Rights
Guests may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data, subject to
legal and operational requirements.
We retain your data only as long as necessary, generally no more than 3 years, unless legally
required otherwise (e.g., tax or legal reasons).
CCTV
CCTV operates in public areas for safety and security.
