Thank you / What’s to come!

With a lot of time on their hands during quarantine, many people started writing blogs, including us! I remember writing our first (and so far, only) blog back in April 2021, thinking that we would have a new blog at least once a month… then May came and the borders opened, and as cliché as it sounds… the flood gates opened!!!

Although we officially opened in 2020, 2021 was our first full year and WOW, what a start! We could not be happier with how it went! On behalf of the Vida Boa Lodge family, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! The Vida Boa Lodge project means so much to us and we are so grateful for all the support and help in making this dream a reality! Most importantly, thank you to our guests. It has been an absolute pleasure hosting you and getting to know every one of you. Without you, this “good life” here at The Lodge would not be possible!

There’s nothing better than hearing the laughter and jokes shared around the table, watching the VBL family grow with people arriving as guests and leaving as friends for life — and most importantly, helping our guests experience things entirely out of their comfort zone, then watching them “get bitten by the bug” and want to do it over and over again! I believe that we truly achieved that last year, so this year we will go again — but this time do it bigger and better!!

Now that we are in the middle of the quieter months, don’t think we are sitting back and relaxing! As well as still hosting incredible guests (doors open all year round!), the team are busy tweaking things here and there and freshening up ready for a busy year ahead. Things are only going to improve at Vida Boa Lodge. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting several surf camps, yoga retreats, and adventure holidays throughout this year, so trust me when I say… we’re only just getting started!
